    • Our Vision
As you might expect, we are ultimately driven by our love of Jesus Christ, and our desire that everyone might have the opportunity to hear the Gospel message; taking seriously the great commission to "go and make disciples of all nations." But 'what does that look like for us as a worshipping community in Rayleigh and our surrounding area?' is an important question, and hopefully the details below will provide an insight into where we are going in terms of our mission and priorities for this season.

Since our Rector arrived in 2018 we've been on a journey, exploring where God is taking us, and we've had a different theme for each year, as well coming with a framework of priorities for the coming years. Below you'll find out a little more about these themed years and what is planned for the future.

Our Rector spent the first year watching, observing, asking questions, and listening to the collective voice of our congregations and communities; trying to discern where is God leading us as a Church, what are the challenges we face, and what are some of the opportunities on the horizon.

Knowing that sometimes we need a season of getting ready for 'what next', and we knew that we wanted a whole year set aside for the purpose of 'inviting' we needed to be secure in our own foundations, know we are invited by God to join in His mission first, before we could ever then undertake a 'Year of Invitation' in 2020.

Well, you know what they say about 'If you want to give God a laugh, tell Him your plans', well the plan for 2020 started off as being a year of events to which the church family could invite friends, family, neighbours along to, not only to discover the church family, and its faith, but to also join in with God's great invitation to partner with him. Of course this has now all changed….

2021 was intended to be a year of exploration, and discovering what is our vocation and calling for each one of us, as well as creating opportunities for the wider community to explore matters of faith. It looks like the adventure still continues, but in a different way, as we explore what it now means to be church after the coronavirus.

    • Who's Who

      Who's who.

We're a church family that sometimes makes a mess of things, but we're a family that seeks to serve God faithfully in our community, all bringing the gifts and skills we've been blessed with. We believe that all the church family has a role and ministry within the body of Christ, and some are called to particular ministries, but none are any more important than any other.

Our Team Rector is Revd David Oxtoby

Our Churchwardens are Jacky Wragg and Wayne Prankard

Our Parish Administrator is Janet Thompson
